We went over to England to pick Charlotte up from Wales. Even through terrorist threats, we saw people and sights we will never forget.
Our Trip to England
York Minster
Its very beautiful
we were having a good time
hanging out in York
I wonder if the builder wore glasses
something isn’t straight
oh, it was probably just us
look how the wood is bending on this house
An old church off the beaten path
actually this is around the area that had the Bubonic plague
the people burned everything in the area and in the church
and then moved about 20 miles away, but we found the church
at the place we stayed at, we met mutton, I mean martin
murphy named him I think
we grew very fond of martin
Murphy especially
we went to a castle that had a courtyard and everything
here is the look out tower
see, we are looking out
the same place that had martin was old, built in 1718 and had the kitchen to prove it!
the puppies were so cute though
they slept by the hearth to stay warm
look at these doors
a little drafty
and here is the front
some apartments on the street
kind of reminds me of the apartments in New York
Piccadilly Circus
complete with double deckers
the Queens Palace
with a monument
here is a regular guard considering the plane threats
here is the old fashion guard
we couldn’t get to the castle because of the threat
so we had to settle for the fancy gate
we thought this was the tower of London, but realized it was too far away to be so
Here is the royal mt. guard where they keep the royal horses-sometimes there are shows but not today
Some Bobbies-they carry sticks, not guns
The British Museum, we spent some time there, and Cammon and I got tired so we took pictures of the building
We did find a bust of Guy in the British Museum, wow who would have thought!
After a vacation without any electronic devices except our digital camera, we vote NO to making any place a workplace.
